Zebra launches ET80 and ET85, 2-in1 ruggedized tablets with Wi-Fi 6E

Zebra Technologies Corporation expands its ET8x range of tablets created to offer greater productivity and security in various sectors. The new models are ET80 And ET85both 12-inch 2in1 tablet with Windows operating system and 11th generation Intel processor. They are the first Zebra tablets not only compatible with Wi-Fi 6E and 5G standards – which allows them to offer advanced wireless connectivity and ensure that operators who work off-site can stay connected in any environment – but also equipped with specific tools of the suite Zebra Mobility DNA, which help improve communications and user experience for on-site workers. These tools include PowerPrecision Pluswhich collects information about the battery status of the device, and the optional Workforce Connect Push to Talk feature that optimizes communications in a single connected platform.

They allow routing and dispatch communications, reporting capabilities on aspects such as patient care, e-citation, and staff monitoring. The new devices also support case management, mobile incident / event control, inventory management and injury reporting applications. For operations in the production and field service departments, the ET8x series allows field service and utility operators to manage work orders, inspection and compliance control activities and applications on the move. remote assistance. The new ET8x series from Zebra comes with a weight of less than 1.3kg and an optional detachable keyboard, so it is easily used as a desktop computer in the office or as a mobile (vehicular) workstation in a police car, truck or a forklift. The ET80 and ET85 devices are also designed to improve productivity and reduce downtime by offering long-lasting runtime and shorter battery recharging times, compared to previous models.
