WhatsApp Beta the news of the update

A few hours after the release of version beta of Whatsapp the time has already come for a new release for devices Androidconfirming the fact that the developer team of this popular instant messaging service knows no rest: we are talking about the version beta.

What’s new in WhatsApp Beta version for Android

Thanks to this new beta version of the application we have the opportunity to discover that the developers are working on a new feature that should improve the system for sending more multimedia content after a photo has been captured.

As you can see in this screenshot, the application will show two new tabs that make it easy to quickly find media files you want to share with your contacts or status updates:

  • Recent (includes all recent photos, videos and GIFs from your gallery)
  • Gallery (all other photos, videos and GIFs in your gallery)

This new media selector will only be available when yes take a photo from the in-app camera (and not for normal sharing of content within a chat) and will also allow you to select multiple images and videos.

There is currently no information on when this functionality could be made available to all users through its implementation in a stable version of the application.
