Verification C19 app updated for students

The VerificationC19 app, now at version 1.2.4, has been updated to introduce the possibility of selecting a fourth type of Green Certification verification: a ‘BASIC verification’, ‘ENHANCED verification’, ‘RSA VISITORS verification (ex BOOSTER) ‘the’ STUDENT verification ‘has now been added. The latter was added after the Council of Ministers on Wednesday 2 February 2022 gave the green light to the new measures for the management of positive cases in the education, school and training system.

The verifier – the person in charge of verifying the Green Pass at the entrance to a place – according to the legislation and the context in which it scans, selects the type of verification to be used (basic, enhanced, RSA visitors, students):
– the BASIC verification it is used to verify the basic green pass: it means the COVID-19 green certification obtained by vaccination, healing, rapid or molecular antigen test with negative result.
– the ENHANCED verification it is used to verify the reinforced Green pass: it means the COVID-19 Green Certification obtained by vaccination or recovery. The enhanced green pass therefore does not include carrying out a rapid or molecular antigen test.
– the RSA VISITORS verification (ex BOOSTER) it is used to verify the Green pass booster: it means the COVID-19 Green Certification issued after the administration of the booster dose, following the completion of the vaccination cycle.
– the check STUDENTS it is used to verify the Green pass for students: in the case of several cases in the same class, depending on the type of school (see detail below, ed), green certification is required to stay in the classroom, controlled via a mobile app.

The Council of Ministers on Wednesday 2 February gave the green light to the new measures for the management of positive cases in the education, school and training system. The approved standards come into force with the publication in the Official Gazette.

In summary, in the Primary School up to four positive cases in the same class the activities continue for all in presence with the use of ffp2 masks (both in the case of teachers and pupils over 6 years of age) until the tenth day following the knowledge of the last positive case. In the event of symptoms appearing, an antigen test (rapid or self-administered) or a molecular test is mandatory. If you are still symptomatic, the test should be repeated on the fifth day following the date of the last contact. With five or more positive cases in the same class those vaccinated and cured for less than 120 days or after the primary vaccination cycle, those vaccinated with a booster dose and those exempt from vaccination continue the activity in the presence with the use of the ffp2 mask (both in the case of teachers and pupils above 6 years) until the tenth day following the knowledge of the last positive case. To stay in the classroom, the green certification, controlled via a mobile app, is sufficient. For the other students, integrated digital teaching is provided for five days.

In the secondary school of I and II degreewith a case of positivity in the same class the didactic activity continues for everyone with the use of ffp2 masks. With two or more positive cases in the same class those vaccinated and cured for less than 120 days or after the primary vaccination cycle, those vaccinated with a booster dose and those exempt from vaccination continue the activity in the presence with the use of ffp2 masks. To stay in the classroom, the green certification, controlled via a mobile app, is sufficient. For the other students, integrated digital teaching is provided for five days.

The health regime currently provides for five or more positive cases in the educational services for infants, in kindergarten and primary school and with two or more positive cases in the lower and upper secondary school, the application to children and pupils the self-monitoring health regime, where the conditions apply (vaccinated and cured for less than 120 days or after the primary vaccination course, vaccinated with booster dose), otherwise the precautionary quarantine health regime of five days, ending with a negative swab. For the next five days after returning from quarantine, students aged 6 and over wear the ffp2 mask.
