Launched in December, Moto Edge X30 was the first smartphone in the world to hit the market with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. This Motorola smartphone has not yet left China, but according to the latest rumors it will be baptized as Moto Edge 30 Pro in global markets.
The renders of the smartphone have just leaked and although it looks largely similar to its Chinese counterpart, some changes can be seen.
Here’s what the Moto Edge 30 Pro would look like
Images shared via Twitter by whistleblower Sudhanshu Ambhore highlight that the fingerprint scanner has been moved below the display and the rear Motorola logo has also migrated to the bottom left.
The leaked renders of the Moto Edge 30 Pro also show a selfie camera housed in a hole in the display, so the Moto X30 Special Edition with the camera under the screen could remain a China exclusive. The remaining specifications should remain the same as the version for the Chinese market.
In addition to employing Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, the Moto X30 is also equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, two 50MP main cameras, and a 60MP front camera.
The 5,000mAh battery supports 68W fast charging, a huge improvement over the Moto Edge 20 Pro’s 30W.
