In recent weeks there has been several talk of possible prices of the series smartphones Samsung Galaxy S22, whose presentation is scheduled for next month.
On the one hand there are those who claim that the Korean giant would have decided to lower the price bar (this also to be able to keep the competition at a distance which is becoming increasingly fierce) while on the other there are those who believe that Samsung has no plans to meet users and that, therefore, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series will be very expensive.
And the popular one belongs to the latter leaker Roland Quandt, which with a message on Twitter has unveiled what should be the official list of the new series of smartphones from Samsung in the Old Continent and most likely also in Italy.
Here are the possible prices of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series in Europe
According to Roland Quandt, these should be in prices of the new smartphones from Samsung:
- Galaxy S22 8/128 GB -> 849 euros
- Galaxy S22 8/256 GB -> 899 euros
- Galaxy S22 + 8/128 GB -> 1,049 euros
- Galaxy S22 + 8/256 GB -> 1,099 euros
- Galaxy S22 Ultra 8/128 GB -> 1,249 euros
- Galaxy S22 Ultra 12/256 GB -> 1,349 euros
- Galaxy S22 Ultra 12/512 GB -> 1,449 euros
In practice, only the basic model (with both 128 GB and 256 GB of integrated memory) should be proposed below the psychological threshold of 1,000 euros while all the other variants should exceed it and the top model, namely Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of integrated memory, it should reach almost 1,500 euros.
According to Roland Quandt, those who claim that for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series the manufacturer would have decided to lower the official prices does not take into account some factors that are relevant to say the least, such as the crisis generated by the Coronavirus pandemic and all the related difficulties, inflation and the scarce availability of components (which make them more expensive).
To find out who will be right about the prices of Samsung’s new smartphones we will have to wait just over two weeks.
