Credit card reader is an application that offers the possibility to read public data on credit or debit cards compatible with NFC and EMV standards (Europay, MasterCard and VISA).
Just bring the card close to the back of the smartphone and then the app will display the related data in an interface made up of three cards. The details tab shows a graphic representation of the card and related information (AID, application, membership circuit, remaining PIN number and issuing institution).
The tab dedicated to transactions displays the history of movements with the relative amounts, type of transaction, country and cryptogram, while the last tab is reserved for register information.
The developer specifies that this application is not usable for payments and does not access the internet, in addition, in some new EMV cards the cardholder name and transaction history have been removed to protect privacy.
