Leafster: search Google Books is an unofficial application that uses the Google Books API to explore from your smartphone the vast collection of books, magazines and texts that Google has digitized over the years, with the ability to view snippets of text, previews and download files.
If the work is in the public domain, the app allows you to download it entirely and for free in PDF and EPUB format, however to view it you will need a PDF or EPUB viewer on your mobile device.
Search results can be sorted by relevance or publication date, and there’s also the option to select your preferred language, and you can buy books available electronically from the Google Books store.
Oddly, this service from Google doesn’t have an official Android app and can only be accessed in a rather outdated web format, while Leafster features a nice interface that follows the guidelines of the Material Theme and offers the ability to filter searches.
Leafster: search Google Books is available for Android for free with no in-app purchases and asks for permissions to access Wi-Fi connection information and photos, media and files. Below you will find the badge to locate the application in Play Store from Google. Android 4.2 or later is sufficient for installation.
