The Chinese brand realme officially presented the new compact Android tablet, assuming that it was needed given the quantity (and quality) of rumors leaked so far. realme Pad minithe second tablet of the house that joins the older brother realme Pad.

All the information that has leaked in the last few weeks, from design to specs, has been confirmed. Let’s go and recap it all.

The new realme Pad mini is, as we said, a compact Android tablet, equipped with a display IPS LCD from 8.7 in (resolution HD +), with not too small frames, which occupies about 85% of the front surface.

No notches or holes: the front camera, from 5 MP, is located on the top frame of the tablet. On the back, flat, there is a camera instead 8 MPoptimized through artificial intelligence, slightly protruding from the body.

To contain the thickness in 7.6 mm the design choices led to inserting a not very large battery inside the tablet, along with his own 6400 mAh of capacity, but equipped with fast charging support a 18 W. It remains to understand how the actual performance of the battery-processor combination will be which, for realme Pad Mini, is theUnisoc Tiger T616: to assist him, there will be 3 or 4 GB RAM memory e 32 or 64 GB memory (UFS 2.1) available for the user, expandable via microSD card (up to 1 TB).

  • Configuration 4 + 64 GB at the price of 11990 Philippine Pesos (about € 213 at the exchange rate), offered at the introductory price of 9990 Philippine pesos (about 178 €)

We do not yet know if and when the tablet will arrive in Europe but, given the price that we will certainly be a bit more expensive (due to taxes, etc.), at the moment the older brother realme Pad could be the most correct choice (and by the way it is in offered on Amazon to € 179.99), unless you’re really expecting a smaller Android tablet.
