Samsung One UI 4.1 arrives on Galaxy S10 Series

Less than a month after Samsung’s announcement of the distribution of One UI 4.1based on Android 12, across multiple existing Galaxy devices after the debut on the Galaxy S22 Seriesthis update is now available for the Galaxy S10 Seriesand in particular for models Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 +, Galaxy S10 5G. So let’s go and discover all the news.

Recall that Samsung has already distributed One UI 4.1 for Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3, also foreseeing the distribution on S21 5G, S21 + 5G, S21 Ultra 5G, S21 FE 5G, S20, S20 +, S20 Ultra, S20 FE 5G, Z Fold2 5G, Fold 5G, Fold, Z Flip 5G, Z Flip, Note20, Note20 Ultra, Note10 + 5G, Note10 + as well as on some models of the Galaxy A and Tab S series (including Tab S7 FE). On some of these the update has already arrived, while on others it will arrive.

Recall that One UI 4.1 is a minor update, because it does not introduce a new version of Android (Android 12 arrived with One UI 4), but it is still important because it introduces new features (we have explored some of them here).

As for the branded Galaxy (therefore with firmware modified by an operator, such as TIM or Vodafone), the rollout could take a few more weeks: now the rollout of One UI 4.1 for the Galaxy S10 Series has only begun for the models no-brand.

If you do not want to wait for the automatic update notification, you can check if the One UI 4.1 update is available for your model by opening the phone Settings, then going to ‘Software updates’ and ‘Download and install’: if the next page returns ‘updated software’ means that the update is not yet available, otherwise the phone starts downloading the update package.

The availability of features may vary from model to model, but from the complete changelog available below, let’s see what comes to Galaxy S10 (SM-G973F), Galaxy S10 + (SM-G975F) and Galaxy S10e (SM-G970F).
