The sand in the hourglass is running out, in just over a day, at Galaxy Unpacked 2022 – you can follow it with us at this link – we will officially get to know the new Samsung Galaxy S22 and this means that the excellent and appreciated Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra still has a few hours left from the brand’s flagship smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra to greetings, S21 and S21 + not yet
It is a common practice among OEMs to do stop the sales of the previous generation as they prepare to present a new reference model and that is precisely what is happening with Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (here is our review and our retry after 5 months).
In fact, the smartphone has been showing up for a few days out of stock on several regional Samsung online stores – the Italian one is an exception, given that still reports it as available for purchase -, suggesting that the manufacturer no longer intends to offer it. Apparently the US site has even gotten rid of the SKU already.
At the moment the situation concerns only the still very valid one Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (as the comparison with the iPhone 13 Pro shows), while it seems that the younger brothers Samsung Galaxy S21 (here is our review) and Samsung Galaxy S21 + (here is our review) are still available in most markets.
Of course, barring huge discounts, it is not at all recommended to buy one of these models now: Samsung Galaxy S22Samsung Galaxy S22 + and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra are around the corner (although, due to delays and possible strikes, availability could be a problem), the improvements will not be lacking and it is worth waiting at least to get to know them officially.
Speaking of Galaxy Unpacked 2022, tomorrow we will also know Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 + and Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra but, although here too there will be a notable generational leap, Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 + (here is ours review) are still affordable.
