Philips Hue 4.11.0: the news of the update

In recent months the application developer team Philips Hue has released several updates and in the past few hours the version 4.11.0with which the long-awaited Bluetooth support has not yet been introduced but which in any case brings with it some interesting news.

Probably those who hoped that with the version 4.11.0 of Philips Hue the support for the management of Philips smart lights via Bluetooth was finally implemented will be disappointed but with this release they have been added two new categories of scenes.

What’s new in version 4.11.0 of Philips Hue for Android

According to what is learned from the official changelog published on the Google Play Store, the two new categories are the following:

  • Futuristic: Get an otherworldly look with scenes that flood your space with rich, saturated colors
  • Lush: Vibrant, vivid and bright, these scenes look great on the outside but you can use them wherever you want

Specifically, the Futuristic category includes the following six scenes: Soho, Magneto, Disturbia, Vapor wave, Tyrell and Hal. The Lush category, on the other hand, includes the following seven scenes: Amber bloom, Painted sky, Orange fields, Blue planet, Lily, Winter beauty and Forest adventure.

We remind you that this application represents the solution studied by Philips to allow users to organize, control and personalize the accessories and lamps of the Philips Hue series. Among its strengths, the bright scenes should be pointed out, as they are able to immediately transform a room with an exclusive atmosphere (it is also possible to create a personalized one based on a photo or a palette of colors).

If you want to pass the wait for the release of Bluetooth connectivity support by trying out the new scenes, all you have to do is download the latest version of Philips Hue, which is already available in the Google Play Store:
