Given that manufacturers are unable to develop batteries that are able to guarantee a significant improvement in autonomy, most brands operating in the mobile sector prefer to fall back on increasingly faster charging systems and among them there are also OnePlus And OPPO.
OnePlus Nord 2T could charge at 80W
According to the latest rumors, OnePlus would have decided to raise the bar regarding the charging speed even in its mid-range smartphones and could benefit from this new policy OnePlus Nord 2T.
This would be a significant improvement compared to OnePlus Nord 2 (which supports charging at 65 W) and which would allow a mid-range model to boast the same system as the current flagship smartphone of the Chinese manufacturer, namely OnePlus 10 Pro.
Recall that, according to what has emerged so far, among the other features of OnePlus 2T we should find a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor, a 6.43-inch display with Full HD + resolution, a triple rear camera (with primary sensor from 50 megapixel) and Android 12.
OPPO wants to push charging up to 160W
Far more ambitious are the projects of OPPO, which has begun the process to bring very high charging speeds to the commercial market: in the past few hours, in fact, the solution of 160W fast charging of this manufacturer appeared in the database of the 3C.
According to what we learn from the database of the Chinese certification body, OPPO’s fast charging adapter has the model number VCK8HACH and is manufactured by Heyuan Huntkey Industrial Co. Ltd.
Rumors have been going on for some time that OPPO has plans for 2022 to start mass-producing fast charging solutions for its phones and this 160W charger may have been made for one of its upcoming smartphones (probably not for the OPPO Finx X5 series, which should support 80W fast charging).
We will know more in the coming weeks.
