MIUI 13 global debut together with Redmi Note 11

There MIUI 13 was presented at the end of December 2021 during a dedicated event and is on distribution in China starting from the beginning of January. The global rollout is fast approaching given the launch of the Redmi Note 11 series just happened, even if a precise date has not yet arrived.

MIUI 13 global ever closer: the debut with the Redmi Note 11

As we saw last month, with the MIUI 13 Xiaomi has mainly focused on privacy And safety, performance And customization. According to the Chinese house, the experience of using the Redmi Note 11 range is made even more unique by the presence of MIUI 13, launched in conjunction with the series and designed to offer “an all-round update“.

The improvements are based primarily on four innovative features:

  • Liquid Storage: to improve read and write efficiency by up to 60%
  • Atomized Memory: a refined method of managing RAM memory, which divides the processes of use into important and non-important activities, at the level of a single application
  • Focus Algorithms: dynamically allocates system resources based on usage scenarios, improving fluidity and responsiveness
  • Smart Balance: designed to automatically find the balance between performance and consumption, guaranteeing autonomy up to 10% longer

The MIUI 13, which we recall is based on Android 12 on some models and on Android 11 on others (such as the latest Redmi Note 11, for now), introduces other innovations designed to unicize the experience, such as the Sidebara tool designed especially for the multitasking which allows you to access all your favorite apps in floating windows with a simple swipe. As we have seen, the new software then introduces the new Mi Sans font, new animated wallpapers, many new widgets and various additional customization possibilities.

We know that MIUI 13 will arrive on many Xiaomi devices, but unfortunately the Chinese house has not yet provided precise information on the arrival of the global version for smartphones already on the market. The new interface will make its debut on Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11S, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, which as we have seen will be available in Italy starting from mid-February 2022.
