LibreOffice available for Android in the final version

January 8, 2022 by akfire1

They have passed several weeks since its beta launch and now LibreOffice is finally available in the final version in the Play Store. Currently it only supports the viewing of files, however the developers are working hard to introduce editing support and some functions in this sense are already present in the application, albeit in preview and therefore not complete. LibreOffice allows you to view, and soon edit, a large number of file types:

  • Open Document Format (odt, ods and odp);
  • Microsoft Office 2007/2010/2013 (docx, xlsx and pptx);
  • Microsoft Office 97/2000 / XP / 2003 (doc, xls and ppt).

Clearly, but we highlight it anyway, the peculiarity of LibreOffice is that it is completely free and free in all its functions. It is therefore ideal for those looking for a free application to read Microsoft Office files on the go. LibreOffice is downloadable from developer site or directly from the Play Store using the badge below.
