Huawei has announced its new mid / low range smartphone Nova 8iavailable in Italy in the colors Moonlight Silver and Starry Black at a price of 349.00 euros.
Huawei’s Nova 8i comes with a body that measures 161x.85×74.7×8.58 and weighs approx 190 grams. The display is an LCD with IPS technology and measures 6.67 inches diagonally while the resolution is FHD + (2376×1080 pixels) and the touch sampling rate at 180Hz. The screen-to-body ratio is 94.7%, according to data obtained by the Huawei laboratory. The Nova 8i is packed with function Eye Comfort updated which has passed TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification: filters harmful blue light emissions, minimizing yellow discoloration.
Powering the phone is a 4300mAh battery, with support for fast charging Huawei SuperCharge at 66W (to 68% in just 20 minutes and completely in about 38 minutes). The chipset is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 (4x Cortex A73 at 2.0 GHz + 4x Cortex A53 at 1.8 GHz), with Adreno 610 GPU supported by 6GB of RAM. The storage is 128GB.
Huawei Nova 8i has a Quad-Camera configuration on the backwith main focus from 64MP with F1.9 aperture and 1 / 1.7-inch sensor flanked by an ultra-wide angle from 8MP F2.4, a depth sensor from 2MP F2.4 is a goal 2MP F2.4 for macro. At the front, the smartphone houses a lens on a corner island 16MP F2.0. The phone supports the “Super Night Shot 2.0” feature which tries to improve shots in low light environments.
The connectivity of the phone is complete with support for 4G LTE networks, WiFi 5, bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, input for 3.5mm jack, NFC, GPS. In addition to the fingerprint sensor, the phone integrates ambient light and gravity sensors, gyroscope and compass. Nova 8i integrates seven antennas in the four edges for better signal reception.
At its market debut, the Huawei Nova 8i performs EMUI 11.0 (based on Android 10) with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) with useful functions to manage every daily activity more efficiently. Between these, MeeTime allows you to call another Huawei smartphone or tablet, to communicate in a more practical way by sharing the screen and adding your own drawings and notes. Following a firmware update, the Nova 8i will also support screenshot and screen recording functions with a simple tap of the finger. And then there is Smart Game Assistantwhich allows you to focus while playing by turning off call and message notifications.
