You can update your device wirelessly or using iTunes with a few simple steps.

Here are some things to check before starting:
1) Back up your device in iCloud or iTunes.
2) Make sure there is enough space on your device to install the update. If you don’t have enough space, use iTunes to update or remove content from your device. Tap Settings> General> Usage to see how much space is occupied by the content.
3) Remember the code: if you have configured a code on your device, you will need it to be able to update to iOS / iPadOS 15.
4) Keep your Apple ID handy: Apple ID is the account you use to log into Apple services like App Store, Apple Music, and iCloud. After the update, you will need to enter your Apple ID and password.

Update iOS / iPadOS wirelessly
The easiest way to update your device is wirelessly, also known as “over-the-air”. Follow this procedure:
1) Plug your device into a power source and connect it to the internet via Wi-Fi (mobile network consumes too much data).
2) Tap Settings> General> Software Update.
3) Tap Download and Install to download the update. If the device is connected to a Wi-Fi network and plugged into a power source, updates are downloaded
automatically.
