The team of DxOMark keep testing Google Pixel 6 and, after the tests related to the main photographic sector, for the smartphone of the Mountain View giant it is time to demonstrate how it fares with regard to selfies.
Recall that among the main strengths of Google Pixel 6 are the Google Tensor sensor, a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD + resolution, refresh rate at 90 Hz and HDR10 +, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, a dual rear camera (with 50 megapixel main sensor and 12 megapixel ultra wide angle) and a 4,620 mAh battery.

As for the front camera, Google Pixel 6 can count on an 8 megapixel sensor with f / 2.0 aperture, 1.12µm pixels, 84 ° viewing angle and 1080p resolution video recording at 30fps.
In the DxOMark tests the smartphone managed to register 104 points in the photos and 87 points in the videos, for an overall result of 97 points, thanks to which it ranks in twenty-sixth place, together with Samsung Galaxy S10 5G and Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G (Snapdragon) and behind Apple iPhone 12, Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, Apple iPhone 12 Pro, Apple iPhone 12 mini, ASUS ZenFone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S21 5G (with 98 points).
Between the positives according to the testers are facial exposure in photos and videos, wide dynamic range, skin tone, good white balance in videos, low noise in bright light and indoor videos.
Less convincing, however, were the level of detail, the blur in the bokeh shots, the limited focus for subjects at close range and the loss of sharpness in the videos.
