Here are the Skagen Falster Gen 6 and Razer x Fossil smartwatches

Fossil Group has just announced two new ones smartwatch. The former is an updated Skagen Falster model, while the latter is a limited version made in collaboration with Razer.

Skagen Falster has been one of the hottest Wear OS smartwatches in recent years and now Fossil has decided to upgrade it with Gen 6 technology. Skagen Falster Gen 6 adopts the same SoC Wear 4100+ and is equipped with the same 8 GB memory and the same sensors.

Fossil’s Skagen Falster Gen 6 will be available in five styles that mirror those of the Falster 3 model and all will adopt the 42mm case and the ability to replace the straps with any other standard 20mm.

Fossil has also partnered with the brand of PC and Razer gaming accessories to create the smartwatch Razer x Fossil Gen 6 which is essentially Fossil Gen 6 with the larger 44mm case, two custom straps in the box, one black and one green, and three unique dials. Apparently it will be a very limited edition: just 1,337 units available for purchase.

However both smartwatches will run Wear OS 2 at launch and not the newer Wear OS 3 which debuted on the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic last year, but Fossil says the Skagen Falster Gen 6 and Razer x Fossil are compatible with Wear OS 3 and will receive the update in 2022.

Availability and pricing of Skagen Falster Gen 6 and Razer X Fossil

Skagen Falster Gen 6 will be available for purchase on skagen.com, and likely Amazon, later this month starting at $ 295. The Razer X Fossil will be available on razer.com, fossil.com and select Fossil stores for $ 329.
