Xiaomi 12 Ultra could arrive later than expected, in the second half of 2022. This, however, does not stop the rumors: the leaker known as @Shadow_leaks showed us some specifications and renders of the next Xiaomi top range.

Xiaomi 12 Ultra: specifications and renderings leaked
Let’s start with the SoC chosen by Xiaomi for the next top range: the Chinese manufacturer may have chosen it Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+, unpublished and evolved version of the current top range from Qualcomm, instead of the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1; the SoC itself could have prompted Xiaomi to review its plans and postpone the launch of the smartphone.
As for the display, Xiaomi 12 Ultra it should be equipped with the panel E5 LTPO Super AMOLED by Samsung, with diagonal from 6.73 “resolution 2Krefresh rate up to 120 Hz and color depth a 10 bit.
On the photographic sector, the smartphone should offer one quadruple rear chamber: two Sony IMX766 sensors from 50 MP they will be used for both the main and wide-angle cameras; to complete the package, there will be a sensor from 16 MP to make portraits and a telephoto lens from 48 MP (Sony IMX586). How many blurt out from @Shadow_leaks goes, however, in stark contrast to the news leaked so far, which spoke of a smartphone with triple camera, in collaboration with Leica, with main sensor (50 MP) and periscopic telephoto lens (48 MP) optically stabilized.
The sea of rumor continues giving further details, no less important. Xiaomi 12 Ultra should have a battery from 5000 mAh with fast charging support a 120 Wa double stereo speaker (God forbid) and certification IP68 (resistance to water and dust).
To complete it all there is the operating system which, barring surprises, will be the MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
Taking a look at the renderings, these confirm the design that had emerged from the last leak: the smartphone is shown to us in two colors, white and black.
When will Xiaomi 12 Ultra arrive?
The smartphone will dethrone the current top proposal of Xiaomithe Mi 11 Ultra, presented at the end of March 2021. As we said at the beginning, the timing should not be replicated this year and the new smartphone could arrive in mid-2022.
