Eclipse Guide improves observation of eclipses

The app Eclipse Guide is an easy to understand and use guide to observing solar and lunar eclipses and was created by the developers of the popular astronomy app Star Walk, winner of the Apple Design Award 2010.

L’app provides a calendar with the list of upcoming and past solar and lunar eclipses and allows you to observe eclipses from your location, from any other location or from the best position for observation.

The world map shows the path of the eclipse accompanied by the times of all phases and the level of visibility of the eclipse with the indication of the best positions from which the astronomical event is visible.

The guide for solar and lunar eclipses also provides an eclipse simulator that allows you to experience the astronomical event from start to finish through an accurate animation, it also provides the timing of the eclipse and other useful information, in addition to notifications on solar and lunar eclipses.

Advanced features includeaudio assistant with voice notifications that will accompany the observation of the eclipse providing comments during all phases of the phenomenon, information maps to choose the most suitable place for the observation of the phenomenon and the map of the stars which simulates the sky visible from your observation point.

Eclipse Guide is available for Android free of charge supported by an optional in-app purchase of € 1.09 required to unlock advanced features and asks for permissions to access identities, contacts, location, photos, media and files.
