Samsung prepares the launch of the new Galaxy A53 and A33

In addition to the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy Tab S8 tablets, protagonists of the upcoming Unpacked event scheduled for February 9, Samsung may announce the new ones this week. Galaxy A53 and A33. The Korean house is ready to renew its smartphone offer by updating the Galaxy A series with the first two smartphones of the new generation which will also include the entry level A13 and the more complete A73.

The latest rumors about the Galaxy A range anticipate the presentation of the new Galaxy A53 and A33 already this week. The actual commercial debut of the new mid-ranges shouldn’t be particularly far off. The two smartphones, in fact, could be on sale already by the end of February or, at the latest, at the beginning of March (the actual release date may depend on the marketing market.).

In the press documentation relating to the new Tab S8 Ultra there is an explicit reference to the new Galaxy A53 and A33 which, therefore, should be part of the news coming from Samsung in these days.

The specifications

As every year there is great interest around the new Galaxy A. The most anticipated smartphone is probably the Galaxy A53, future reference of the mid-range of the Korean house. The smartphone is expected to hit the market with a 6.5 inch display diagonal with panel AMOLED with refresh rate from 120 Hz. Among the specifications there will be room for a fingerprint sensor under the display and for certification IP67.

The photographic compartment of the new Galaxy A53 should include a 64 Megapixel main sensor supported by three other sensors: a 21 megapixel ultra wide angle and two 5 megapixel sensors, one for macro and one for depth of field. The front room will be 32 Megapixel and will be integrated, as per tradition, in the display hole. The spec sheet of the new Samsung Galaxy a53 will also include 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage (the combination of RAM and storage will depend on the marketing market).

To complete the specifications we will find the SoC Exynos 1200 which will guarantee excellent overall performance. It should be noted that there will be support for 5G (the construction of a 4G model is not foreseen unlike the last generation) while the battery will be from 5,000 mAh with 25 W fast charging support. In the package, however, a 15 W charger should be included. Software side, space for Android 12 with One UI 4.0.

For the moment, there are fewer details on the Galaxy A33. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.4-inch display while also picking up different specifications from the Galaxy A53. The difference with the “big brother” will be in the SoC, probably less powerful, in a smaller amount of RAM and storage and in a photographic sector with different sensors (the main sensor should be 48 Megapixel).

As for the pricesthe positioning of the two smartphones should not differ much from that of the last generation of Galaxy A. The new Galaxy A53 should, therefore, arrive on the market with a price of around 400 euros while for A33 a positioning of at least 100 euros is expected. lower. Confirmations will arrive, however, only after the official presentation.
