Dante’s Way is an application dedicated to the route organized on the ancient medieval paths that connected Ravenna and Florence at the time of the poet Dante Alighieri.
It is a circular route of about 380 km that connects Romagna and Tuscany through the Casentino area and is full of references to the political, religious and historical events that have characterized these lands.
The app aims to support the use of the itineraries and opens with a menu that presents the sections dedicated to the cultural association, the description of the journey, the stages on the Google map, Dante’s refreshments and photos of the journey.
There are 20 excursion stages with the following details: description, length, time needed, height difference, difficulty, maximum height, intermediate stage, CD / Cai signs, Dante’s refreshment, arrival and the image of the detailed elevation profile.
Dante’s Way is available for Android for € 9.99 without in-app purchases and asks for permissions to access: location, Wi-Fi connection information, photos, media and files.
