Android 12 arrives on another Realme and another Redmi


New round of updates to Android 12 involving two other smartphones, one with the Realme brand and one with the Redmi brand. Specifically it is Realme GT Master Explorer Edition and of Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, two smartphones that have never officially arrived in Italy; however, it is only right to talk about them because, perhaps, someone has decided to buy them anyway, importing them from abroad.

This is the first major upgrade of this smartphone which, according to the plans of Realmeis expected to receive Android 13 next year.

The update is being distributed via OTA (over-the-air) according to a gradual release, so you can stop the release in case the first users to enjoy the update report serious bugs.

Redmi K40 Gaming Edition updates to MIUI 13 with Android 12

Xiaomi started releasing the update to the MIUI 13based on Android 12for all its compatible smartphones.

Today is the turn of Redmi K40 Gaming Editionsmartphone exclusive to the Chinese market, which receives this new software update (also in this case it is the first major upgrade) a few weeks after the presentation of his successor, Redmi K50 Gaming.
