Among the next news coming for the range of smartphones Motorola there will also be the still unreleased Motorola Moto G Stylus (2022). The smartphone is expected to debut in the first quarter of 2022.
In these hours, awaiting official confirmations from the company, the first details on the Technical specifications of the future Motorola Moto G Stylus (2022). The information, which we will analyze below, is quite disappointing. The smartphone will have an SoC of MediaTek not quite recent, quite basic specifications, with some absences that are out of tune like that of the chip NFC, and very limited software support. Here are the details:
Motorola Moto G Stylus (2022): here are the technical specifications
Motorola’s new smartphone will be able to count on a 6.78 inch display diagonal with resolution Full HD (2460 x 1080 pixels). The panel will be a IPS LCD characterized by a maximum refresh rate of 90 Hz. To manage the operation of the new Motorola Moto G Stylus (2022) we will find the SoC MediaTek Helio G85, presented a year and a half ago and, therefore, certainly not the most recent SoC model available to manufacturers. It should be noted that previous rumors anticipated the presence of the Snapdragon 480+.
Several variants of the smartphone are expected on the market, which will differ from each other based on the allocation of RAM and storage. The new G Stylus should present 4/6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB internal memory for archiving. As for the battery, however, the smartphone should integrate one 5,000 mAh battery with charging from only 10 W. As the name suggests, the smartphone will support a stylus which will be included in the package and can be housed inside the appropriate slot of the smartphone.
The photographic sector will include a main sensor from 50 Megapixels (a Samsung ISOCELL S5KJN1) supported by an 8 Megapixel ultra wide angle sensor (ISOCELL S5K4H7) and a 2 Megapixel sensor for depth of field. The front camera will be 16 Megapixel with the sensor that will be installed inside the traditional hole of the display, positioned centrally.
Among the specifications there will also be space for a fingerprint sensor that will be integrated into the side power button. There will not be a button dedicated to Google Assistant while the presence of the 3.5 mm audio jack is confirmed. Furthermore, the latest rumors about the project confirm theabsence of NFC chip and Dual SIM support. These elements, however, could find space in the versions of the smartphone dedicated to some markets.
The software sector should be particularly disappointing. The new Motorola Moto G Stylus (2022) it should, in fact, arrive on the market with Android 11 and then receive only at a later time Android 12. The transition to Android 12 will also be the only major update that Motorola will reserve for its smartphone. Furthermore, with regard to security updates, the company should make available to users exclusively bimonthly updates and only for the first two years after launch.
There is no precise information, for now, on the price and release date of the new Motorola Moto G Stylus (2022). The smartphone should be marketed both in North America and in Europe (including Italy). More details (also official) on the project could arrive in the next few weeks.
